망초/개망초(국화과 망초속) 뿌리잎

마당에 망초와 개망초 씀바귀 월동초가 완전히 깔려 있다.

내년에 이 녀석들 자라나면 마당이 잡초밭으로 될 것 같아서 모종삽으로 톡톡 뿌리 윗부분을 잘라 제거를 했다.

헌데 씨앗이 얼마나 날아왔는지 뒷날 돌아서면 금새 싹이 또 돋아난다.

에혀~!! 무슨 대책을 세워야겠는디....

 

망초는 굵은 원뿌리가 있어서 모종삽으로 살짝만 쳐도 댕강댕강 잘려나가는데

개망초는 원뿌리가 없는 잔뿌리만 수염처럼 나 있어서 속도감을 줘서 잘라도 쉽게 잘리지 않는다.

결국 삽으로 흙을 뒤집어 파는 수고를 하고서야 뽑을 수가 있었다.
