배암나무(인동과)

무더운 7월의 설악을 낑낑거리고 올라간 이유 중의 하나가 이 녀석도 포함되어 있다.

이름도 괴상한 배암나무라니. 어디가 배암을 닮은 구석이 있는지 짐작도 안 되는 녀석이다.

 

장상으로 3갈래 갈라진 모습이 백당나무와 흡사하여 눈 여겨 봐 주지 않으면 그냥 스쳐버릴 녀석이다.

안 그래도 대청봉을 오르면서 이 녀석 찾느라고 몇번이나 백당나무한테 속았는지 모르겠다.

이미 열매를 맺고 있었느데 꽃을 보려면 6월 중순에 올라야 하겠다.

 

 

 

열매는 핵과로 둥글며 9월에 적색으로 익고 종자는 복면에 넓은 홈이 있다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

잎은 대생하며 장상으로 3개로 갈라지고 열편은 위로 향하며 삼각상난형이다. 윗부분의 잎은 타원형이고 갈라지지 않는다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

높이가 2m에 달하고 골속이 백색이며 소지는 갈색이 도는 녹색이고 털이 없다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

표면에 털이 약간 잇으나 점차 없어지며 선점이 있고 뒷면은 선점이 있으며 맥 위에 성모가 있고

엽병은 길이 5-20mm로서 성모가 있으나 점차 없어지며 탁엽이 있다.
