솜방망이(국화과)

도로변에 솜방망이가 무리지어 서 있는 모습이 그럴 듯 해서 흙먼지를 무릅쓰고 차를 세웠다.

 

 

 

 

근생엽은 로제트형으로 퍼지고 개화기까지 남아 있으며 긴 타원형 또는 도란상 긴 타원형이고 길이 5~10cm, 나비 1.5~2.5cm로서 끝은 둔하며 밑부분이 좁아져서 엽병처럼 되고 가장자리가 밋밋하거나 잔톱니가 있으며 양면에 많은 솜털로 덮여 있기 때문에 솜방망이라고 한다.

 

경생엽은 위로 갈수록 점점 작아지고 기부의 잎은 도피침형이며 둔두이고 길이 7-11cm, 나비 1-1.5cm로서 반 정도 원줄기를 얼싸 안으며 밑으로 흐른다.
