왜떡쑥(국화과 왜떡쑥속) Gnaphalium uliginosum L.

오후 4시경 이 녀석 본다꼬 꽃동무 따라 저수지 가를 헤메느라 땀으로 목욕을 하였다.

울 동네 가까이 있는 이곳 저수지는 인근에서 가장 큰 곳으로 낚시꾼들 발걸음이 잦은 곳이다.

 

물이 찼다가 빠졌다가 하는 곳에는 물잔디와 민하늘지기로 밭을 이루었고 미국외풀과 밭둑외풀? 이 자리를 깔아 놓았다.

미국좀부처꽃 개체도 많이 보이고 명아주여뀌도 군락을 이루고 있다. 찬찬히 다시 둘러 볼 시간을 가져야겠다.

민하늘지기 밭을 뒤져서 왜떡쑥을 겨우 서너 개체 찾아 담았다. 급히 담고 돌아오는 길, 시원한 생수가 꿀맛 같다.

 

근생엽은 경생엽보다 작으며 꽃이 필 때 쓰러지고 밑부분의 잎은 엽병이 없으며 도피침상 선형이고 끝이 둔두이며

길이 4-5cm, 나비 3-5mm로서 양면에 털이 밀생하고 백색이며 가장자리가 밋밋하고 화서의 잎도 크기에는 차이가 없다.

 

꽃은 5-7월에 피며 가지 끝과 원줄기 끝에 다닥다닥 붙어 총상으로 달리지만 둥글게 되고 화서는 지름 1-1.5cm이다.

총포는 반구형으로서 길이 2mm, 나비 5mm정도이며 포린은 3줄로 배열되고 바깥 것은 보다 짧으며 넓은 난형이고 둔두이지만

안쪽 것은 긴 타원형 또는 피침형으로서 끝이 뾰족하다.

수과는 긴 타원형이며 길이 0.7mm정도로서 점이 있고 관모는 길이 1.5mm정도로서 백색이다

 

높이 15-30cm이고 여러 대가 한군데에서 나오며 잎이 원줄기 끝까지 달리고 전체가 백색 털로 덮여 있다.
