2011. 6. 23. 동네 저수지.
장마가 시작되었다. 집 가까이 저수지에 한 번 가 본다 하면서 장마가 시작 되도록 가 보지 못하였다.
저수지 가장자리 물 빠진 곳에 몇 가지 볼 게 있기 때문인데 장마가 시작 되어 물이 차 버리면 볼 수가 없지 싶었다.
내일부터 집중적으로 장맛비가 온다고 하니 늦은 시각이라도 오늘 가 보지 않으면 올해는 포기해야 할 것 같아서
퇴근 후 오라가락하는 비를 틈 타서 잠시 들렀다.
올 봄 20 여리 떨어진 마을 뒤 쪽에 큰 산불이 있었다. 며칠 동안 번지는 큰 불이었다.
끄 때 헬기 여러 대가 분주하게 이 저수지의 물을 퍼서 산불을 껐다. 그래서 저수지의 물은 예년에 비하여 수량이 많이 줄었다.
마침 저수지 수문 공사로 물을 더 빼서 저수지를 탐사하기에는 안성맞춤이었다.
저수지 가장자리 바닥은 민하늘지기가 녹색 자리를 깔고 있었고 좀소리쟁이가 한창 꽃을 피우고 있다.
닭의덩굴, 큰물칭개, 하늘지기와 좀소리쟁이를 몇 장 담고 왜떡쑥을 찾았다.
저수지라 바닥이 질벅하여 발이 빠지지 않도록 조심하면서 하늘지기를 이리 저리 헤쳐 보는데 다행하게도 초입 근처에서 두어 포기 찾았다.
작년에 꽃동무가 이 곳을 살펴보고 알려 주어서 이 녀석과 조우할 수 있었다.
잎이 가느다랗고 포기가 왜소한 왜떡쑥은 습지 부근에서 자라는 녀석이다.
아직 꽃은 피지 않고 꽃봉오리 상태이다.
꽃은 5-7월에 피며 가지 끝과 원줄기 끝에 다닥다닥 붙어 총상으로 달리지만 둥글게 되고 화서는 지름 1-1.5cm이다. 총포는 반구형으로서 길이 2mm, 나비 5mm정도이며 포린은 3줄로 배열되고 바깥 것은 보다 짧으며
넓은 난형이고 둔두이지만 안쪽 것은 긴 타원형 또는 피침형으로서 끝이 뾰족하다
높이 15-30cm이고 여러 대가 한 군데에서 나오며 잎이 원줄기 끝까지 달리고 전체가 백색 털로 덮여 있다
