바위솜나물(국화과 산솜방망이속)

석회암 지대 높은 산 정상부 바위 주변에 살고 있는 오리지널 바위솜나물을 만났다.

이 녀석은 솜방망이속인데 왜 솜나물이란 이름을 붙였을까?

 

정상의 바위에 오르는 순간 노랗게 피어 있는 털부숭이 바위솜나물이 눈앞에 나타났을 때의 기분이란.

형언할 수 없는 전율로 잠시 멍을 때렸다.

 

영월 모처에서 바위솜나물이라 생각하며 담은 녀석이 아무래도 썩 맘에 들지 않았었는데

두터운 잎에 엉겨있는 거미줄 같은 털과 근생엽의 잎자루가 길고 엽연의 거치가 뚜렷한 전형적인 바위솜나물이다.

물기 부족한 바위 틈에서 자란 녀석이라 키도 별로 크지 않으니 화면에 담기도 안성맞춤이라.

보고 또보고 담고 또 담아도 실증이 나지 않는다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

줄기에 능선과 함께 거미줄 같은 털이 있다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

근생엽은 적고 방사상으로 퍼지며 경생엽보다 작고 긴 타원형으로서 끝이 둔하며

양면은 거미줄같은 털로 덮여 있고 가장자리에 불규칙한 톱니가 있으며 엽병에 날개가 있다.

 

경생엽은 4-6개이고 엽병이 없으며 긴 타원형이고 밑부분의 것은 길이 3.5-9cm, 넓이 1-3cm이며

중앙부의 것은 길이 3-7cm이고 윗부분의 것은 선상 피침형으로서 선상의 털이 있다.
