산간 습지에 사는 이 녀석을 물솜방망이라 불러 줘야 할 것 같다.
학명이 꼬였다. 아니 애초에 엉뚱한 녀석을 물솜방망이라 부른 게 잘못이다.
물솜방망이 Tephroseris pseudosonchus 는 산지 습지에 사는 녀석이고
솜쑥방망이 Senecio pierotii(Tephroseris pierotii) 가 하천 가나 저지대 물통이 주변에서 볼 수 있는 녀석이다.
몇 해 전 꽃동무가 이에 대한 의문을 제기하였고 나도 중국과 일본의 자료를 확인해 본 결과이다.
잎가장자리는 톱니가 없거나 아주 얕은 톱니가 있기도 하다
