히어리(조록나무과) 열매

 2010. 5. 28. 광릉수목원.

 

아~! 이 녀석들

광릉 수목원에서 담은 자료를 잠재워 두고 있었다.

꽃잎은 다 떨어지고 길다란 암술만 남았다. 꽃받침이 꽃처럼 이쁘다.

 

  

과실은 수과로 거의 구형이며 9월에 성숙한다.

 

잎은 호생하고 난상 원형으로 길이 5~9cm, 나비 4.5~8.2cm이며 밑은 심형이고 뾰족한 톱니가 있으며

표면은 녹색, 뒷면은 회백색이고 측맥이 현저하며 엽병은 길이 1.5~2.8cm이다.

 

4월 중순의 꽃이다.
