조록나무(조록나무과)

산방산 아래서 담았는데 잎을 보고 광나무인 줄 알았더니 열매가 아니었다.

ㅊ님이 이름을 말해 준 거 같은데 생각이 안 난다. 도감을 뒤지니 조록나무다.

 

조록나무는 어린가지에 갈색의 퍼진 털이 보이고 열매 겉에 갈색털이 빡빡하게 있고 2갈래로 갈라진다.

2개로 갈라진 열매를 보니 꼭 올빼미 형상을 한 회양목 열매를 닮았다.

4월에 꽃잎 없는 붉은꽃받침이 3~6개 잎겨드랑이에 모여 핀다. 잎은 어긋나고 긴 타원형에 남쪽 상록성 식물처럼 두껍다.

 

 

 

 

 수피는 적갈색이고 가지에 성모가 있으나 곧 없어진다.

 

 

그런데 열매에 충령이 생겼는지 길쭉한 주걱 모양의 열매가 보인다.
