풍년화(조록나무과 풍년화속)

출장 일이 일찍 마친 덕분에 대구 근교의 봄꽃이라도 볼 시간이 생겼다고 좋아라 했더니만

때 맞춰 비가 내린다. 에혀~~!

그래도 아쉬워서 오랜만에 우중에 수목원 한 바퀴 돌았다.

 

이른 봄 잎이 나기 전 꼬깃꼬깃 말고 있던 길다란 꽃잎을 펼치는 특이한 모양을 가지고 있다.

이 녀석의 꽃이 풍성하게 피면 풍년이 든다고 이름을 그렇게 붙였다고 한다
