조록나무(조록나무과 조록나무속)

꽃잎은 없도 꽃술만 있는 꽃을 피운다. 꽃차례 산단부에는 양성화, 하단부에는 수꽃이 핀다.

양성화- 2개로 갈라진 암술머리는 털로 덮여 있다

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

잎가장자리는 매끈하고 털이 없다

잎가운데 혹 같은 게 조록나무 충영이다.

잎이나 겨울눈에 조롱박 같은 충영이 달린다고 해서 조록나무란 이름을 얻었다.
