통조화(통조화과 통조화속)=>완도술꽃나무

사람이 접근하기 어려운 곳이라 특별한 기회가 되어야 만날 수 있는 새로운 녀석이다.

히어리처럼 잎이 나기 전에 주렁주렁 이삭모양의 꽃차례를 줄줄이 늘어뜨리고

사람의 시선을 피하여 저만의 섬을 지키고 있었다.

 

암수딴그루이다. 수그루의 꽃은 수술과 암술의 길이가 같다.

개화 만기라서 조금만 건드려도 꽃이 우수수 떨어졌다.

수꽃이다 암술과 수술을 모두 갖추고 있지만 암술은 제 구실을 하지 못한다

암그루이다. 수술의 길이가 암술의 1/2정도로 짧다.

잎은 치아상 톱니가 자잘하다

어린 가지는 자갈색을 띠고 작은 피목이 있다.
