히어리(조록나무과) 열매

2013. 5. 25. 전남.

 

이른 봄 잎도 나기 전에 노란 꽃주저리를 주러주렁 매달고 있는 모습이 참 신기하던 녀석이다.

전남 지역에 서식하는 한국 특산식물인데도 식물원에 식재된 히어리를 처음 봤을 때는 조경용 외래수종인 줄 알았었다.

 

동그란 하트 모양의 잎새도 꽃 못지 않게 귀여운 녀석이다.
