물꼬리풀(꿀풀과 물꼬리풀속) Pogostemon stellatus (Lour.) Kuntze

작은 물통이 옆에는 말들이 자유롭게 풀을 뜯고 있었다.

네비 아줌마가 띨띨치 못하여 장소를 찾느라고 한참 헤멨어야 했다.

 

마악 도착하여 작은 공간에 차를 주차하는데 멀리 초지를 가르는 두 사람이 보인다.

분명 이 녀석을 보러 들어가는 꽃동무라 짐작이 되어서 부리나케 뒤를 좇았다.

 

역시 금방 물통이가 나타났고 두 사람과 마주치게 되었는데, 오잉? 바로 이 곳을 알려 주었던 꽃동무다.

언젠가 꽃탐사를 함께 한 적이 있었는데 나를 담박에 알아 보고 반가워 하신다.

예정했던 비행기를 타지 못하고 하루 연기가 되었다는 연락에 내일 내려오는 걸로 잘못 받아들였단다

뜻밖의 만남이라 더 반가움을 나누었다.

 

전주물꼬리풀에 비하여 가느다란 화서에 자잘한 꽃이 피는 녀석이라 마악 개화를 시작하는 모습은 그리 화려하지는 않다.

비가 부슬거리는 날씨라서 빛이 아쉬운 날이었다.
