장화를 신고 누런 밀짚모자를 덮어 쓴 여인네가 동네를 얼쩡 거리니

할매 눈에는 참으로 수상쩍은 여자였을 게다.

 

 

"그냥 풀쪼가리 들따 보고 있어요."

 

나는 거짓말을 했다.

일케 이쁜 녀석이 길섶에서 배시시 웃고 있었는디...

 

무턱대고 들어간 댐 수변 산 가장자리에 구와꼬리풀이 한창이었다
