산개벚지나무(장미과)

만항재 너머로 먹구름이 몰려오더니 나뭇가지가 거센 바람에 요동을 치면서 천둥과 함께 소나기가 쏟아진다

급히 차로 돌아가 비를 피한다. 금방 끝날 것인가? 아니면 오랜 시간 기다려야 할까?

비는 20 여 분 후 그치기 시작한다. 비에 적은 나뭇잎들이 바짓가랑이를 적신다.

 

가지 끝에서 4~10개 정도의 꽃송이가 총상꽃차례로 피는데

소화경 아래 작은 잎처럼 생긴 톱니가 있는 포가 1개씩 있는데 열매가 익을 때 까지 남아 있다

 

7월 말에 붉게 변한 열매다. 나중에 흑자색으로 익는다.

 

 

수피는 벚나무 비슷하다.
