호모초(명아주과 호모초속) Corispermum stauntonii Moq.

해안식물은 늘 봐도 새롭기 때문에 내륙에 사는 나는 해안을 뒤질 때가 무척 재미가 있다.

무작정 뒤지던 강원도의 해안에도 기본적으로 만나는 해안 식물들이 반겨 준다,

 

이 녀석 종류는 꽃이 필 때 화서의 모습과 때 종자의 크기를 봐야 꼬리호모초인지 호모초인지 확인이 가능하다

 

호모초 ---포는 난형으로 3맥, 종자 좁은 날개

꼬리호모초 ---화서가 좁고 긴 원통형, 포의 막질이 좁고 1맥,열매는 날개가 넓고 가장자리에 톱니가 있음
이삭호모초--- 화서는 굵고 짧은 원통형, 포는 광난형으로 막질이 넓고 3맥,열매는 날개가 좁고 가장자리에 톱니가 없음 ( FOC)
