해홍나물(명아주과 나문재속)

폐기된 염전에 퉁퉁마디와 함께 못자리 모포기 처럼 살고 있던 녀석이다.

염생식물은 접한 일이 거의 없어서 구분하기 쉽지가 않다.

 

1. 엽액보다 약간 윗쪽에 짧은 화경을 가진 꽃이 뭉쳐서 핀다. .......... S. glauca(나문재)
1. 화경이 없는 꽃이 엽액에 핀다.
   2. 화피가 커져서 열매가 별모양이다................................. S. malacosperma(기수초)
   2. 열매에 화피가 부풀어오르지 않는다.
      3. 잎은 곤봉형, 도란형 또는 도피침형이다. ....................... S. japonica(칠면초)
      3. 잎은 선형
         4. 줄기는 포복성이거나 상향이며 엽흔이 뚜렷하다. .............. S. australis(방석나물)
         4. 줄기는 직립한다. 엽흔이 분명하지 않다. ..................... S. maritima(해홍나물)

 

식별이 어려운 것이 칠면초와 해홍나물인데 칠면초 잎이 보다 짧고 둥글며 끝이 곤봉형, 

해홍나물은 잎이 가늘고 길며 끝이 뾰족하고 잎의 윗면은 납작하고 골이 있기도 함.

이 녀석의 잎 단면을 살펴 보았는데 반달 모양으로 잎 윗면이 납작하였다.
