솔장다리(명아주과 수송나물속) 신초 Salsola collina Pall.

이 녀석은 솔잎처럼 가느다란 잎이 특징이다.

꽃이 피는 모습을 보면 명아주과임을 알 수가 있는데 잎으로는 전혀 짐작이 안 되는 녀석이다.

바닷가에 서식하는 명아주과로 해홍나물, 수송나물, 호모초, 나문재...등도 꽃과 열매 모양이 비슷한데

이 녀석 솔장다리는 염생식물이  내륙의 강변이나 건조한 산비탈에서도 확인이 되는 특이한 녀석이다.

 

이 녀석은 이태 전 한겨울에 낙동강변에서 말라 비틀어진 이 녀석 사체를 들따 보면서 꽃동무랑 머리를 싸매었던 녀석인데 

강 수변 정리로 사라진 줄 알았더니 어떻게 피신을 한 녀석이 있어서 지난 해 그 쭉정이를 꺾어 와서 집 마당 구석에 마구 흔들어 대었었다.

올해 소나무 신초처럼 마당 곳곳에 돋아나는 녀석을 보고 웃었더랬는데 아무래도 우리 집 마당이 잡초밭이 될 듯하여 걱정이다.

 

원래 그 자리 강변에도 올해 여러 개체가 자라고 있다. 꽃이 필 때 집 마당에 있는 녀석을 관찰하면 되어 편하긴 하다.

 

 

 

 

이삭꽃차례는 가지 윗부분에 달린다. 꽃은 양성으로서 7-8월(7~9월?)에 피고 (  ?? )색이며, 가지 끝에 하나씩 달리며

꽃자루는 없고 2개의 소포가 있다. 포편은 달걀형이며 끝부분이 벋어나가 끝에 단단한 바늘모양의 돌기가 있다.

가장자리는 막질, 등부분에 백색 돌출능선이 있다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

소포편은 좁은 피침형, 끝에는 바늘모양 돌기가 있는데 포편과 소포편 모두 화서축에 착 들러붙는다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

잎은 어긋나며 잎자루가 없고 육질로서 잎조각은 실모양 원주형으로 벋거나 혹은 조금 휘는데 길이 2~5센티, 너비(지름) 0.5~1.5밀리에,

짧고 센털이 있다. 굳어지면서 끝은 바늘모양의 돌기(가시)가 되는데, 기부 가장자리는 막질이고 약간 확장되면서 아래로 벋는다.
