호자덩굴(꼭두서니과 호자덩굴속) 열매 Mitchella undulata Siebold & Zucc.

이 녀석은 개화 수에 비하여 열매의 결실율이 매우 낮아서 열매를 담을 기회가 많지 않았다.

꽤 많은 개체가 서식하고 있는 호자덩굴 군락을 뒤져 봐도 몇 개를 만난 게 고작이다.

 

호자덩굴 꽃은 줄기 끝에 2개씩 달리는데 열매 위쪽에 생긴 두 개의 배꼽은 꽃이 떨어진 자리로 꽃받침이 뾰족한 몇개의 돌기로 남아 있다
