호자나무/수정목 비교

제주의 숲에서 만날 수 있는 호자나무와 수정목은 둘 다 꼭두선이과로

꽃이나 가지에 가시를 가지고 있는 점, 붉은 열매와 꽃,나무의 크기 잎의 모양에서 매우 비슷한 녀석이다.

 

	잎	가시	꽃	열매	수피와 가지
호자나무	난형, 넓은 난형 또는 긴 난형 길이 1-2.5cm, 나비 0.7-2cm	마디에 길이 0.5-2cm 잎과 거의 같은 길이. 가시가 매우 길다	길이 15mm로서 통부 안쪽에 털이 있고 열편은 통부 길이의 1/6-1/5이다.	둥글고 지름 5mm	높이가 1m에 달하고 소지에 털이 있다.
수정목	난형, 넓은 난형 길이 1.5~4cm, 나비 1-2cm 호자보다 더 크다	마디에 길이 1cm 정도의 가시	화관길이 15~18mm열편은 화관 길이의 1/5-1/4이다	둥글고 지름 5mm	줄기는 회백색이며 소지에 는 가늘게 굽은 털이

 

< 잎이다>

호자나무길이 1-2.5cm, 나비 0.7-2cm	수정목 길이 1.5~4cm, 나비 1-2cm

 

<가시이다>

호자나무 길이 0.5-2cm 정도, 잎의 길이와 비슷하다	수정목 길이 1cm 정도, 잎에 비하여 매우 작다

 

 

<꽃이다> 꽃 모양은 두 녀석 모두 같다.

<열매이다> 열매 크기나 모양, 붉게 익는 점도 두 녀석이 같다.
