호자나무(꼭두서니과 호자나무속) Damnacanthus indicus C.F.Gaertn.

잔뜩 찌푸린 하늘로 어두운데다가 숲 속이라 더 빛이 없다.

 

붉은 열매를 달고 있는 호자나무가 군락을 이루고 있지만 그림이 어두워서 이쁘지가 않다.

이 녀석과 함께 수정목이 같은 환경에서 살고 있어서 두 녀석을 잘 구분헤서 봐야한다.

	잎	가시	꽃	열매	수피와 가지
호자나무	난형, 넓은 난형 또는 긴 난형 길이 1-2.5cm, 나비 0.7-2cm	마디에 길이 0.5-2cm 잎과 거의 같은 길이. 가시가 매우 길다	길이 15mm로서 통부 안쪽에 털이 있고 열편은 통부 길이의 1/6-1/5이다.	둥글고 지름 5mm	높이가 1m에 달하고 소지에 털이 있다.
수정목	난형, 넓은 난형 길이 1.5~4cm, 나비 1-2cm 호자보다 더 크다	마디에 길이 1cm 정도의 가시	화관길이 15~18mm 열편은 화관 길이의 1/5-1/4이다	둥글고 지름 5mm	줄기는 회백색이며 소지에 는 가늘게 굽은 털이
