거지딸기(장미과)

이번 남도 꽃여행에서 3종류의 딸기 열매를 담아만 가도 목표 달성이다.

남쪽으로 딸기나무 종류가 많아서  꽃이 피는 5월 꼭 오고 싶은 곳인데 열매라도 봤으니 다행한 일이다.

특히 거지딸기는 쉽게 만날 수 있는 게 아니라서 이 녀석을 만난 것은 아주 큰 수확인 셈이다.

 

남오미자덩굴 암꽃을 보지는 못했지만 대신에 이 녀석으로 그 서운함을 채우기에는 충분하다.

열매는 긴타원형으로 원추화서를 형성하고 있는데 딱 한개의 열매가 아주 고운 주황색으로 익고 있었다.

 

 

 

 

 

화서에는 샘털로 덮여 있고

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

도감의 기재문 상으로는 잎이 3~5장의 깃꼴이라 하는데

열매가 달리는 가지에서는 대체로 3~5장이나 맹아 줄기에서는 11장까지 나타났다.

 

잎자루, 잎 중축과 잎 뒷면 맥 위에샘털이 밀생하였고 고부라진 가시도 만히 생성되어 있었다.

잎 끝이 길게 꼬리처럼 빠져 있고 엽저는 둥글며 겹톱니가 촘촘하였다.

 

 

 

맹아 줄기의 잎이다. 9~11장의 소엽으로 이루어져 있다.

 

 

 

 

고부라진 가시가 얼마나 많던지 소맷자락이 걸려서 빠져나오느라 한참 씨름을 해야했다.

아마 산딸기속 중에서는 가시가 가장 억세고 많은 것 같다

 

 

줄기에는 가시와  긴 샘털로 덮여 있는데 검은딸기도 비슷하지만 검은딸기는 샘털이 아주 짧다.

 

 

 

어린 줄기에도 긴 샘털이 빽빽하게 덮여 있고 엽축과 엽병과 함께 고부라진 가시가 드세 보인다.
