섬딸기(장미과))

이 녀석은 거문딸기처럼 꽃이 무척 크다.

남해에서 만났던 섬딸기는 가시가 거의 없고 엽병과 줄기에 밀모가 있는데

이 곳의 녀석은 가시가 생각보다 많은 편이었고 잎의 폭이 더 좁은 장상을 이루고 있어서

외형상 약간의 차이가 있는 것 같기도 하다

꽃이 아래를 향해 달리고 가시가 있는 이 녀석을 이 곳에서는 거제딸기로 부른다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

꽃을 잎 겨드랑이에서 1~3개 아래로 늘어져서 피고 있었다.

꽃받침과 화병, 잎자루에 부드러운 밀모가 밀생하고 엽병과 잎 맥 위, 줄기에 가시도 듬성듬성 나 있다

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

잎은 장상이지만 남해에서 봤던 것 보다 더 짜박한 느낌을 주는 주름이 있고 거치가 날카로웠다.

 

 

 

넓은 장상이 아니라 폭이 좁고 긴 듯한 장상을 이루고 있다.

 

 

 

섬딸기는 줄기에 가시가 없고 연모가 있는 특징이 있다고 하는데

이 녀석은 엽병과 맥 위에는 고부라진 가시가 나 있고 가지에도 큰 가시가 꽤 보인다.

 

섬달기와 유사하지만 가시가 있는 것을 맥도딸기로 부르기도 하는데

혹자는 맥도나 거제 모두 섬딸기의 변이 범주에 포함 되므로 섬딸기에 묶어서 보는 견해도 있다고 한다

해서 나도 이 녀석들은 섬딸기로 정리를 해 둔다.
