나는 왜 이런 녀석들이 맘에 더 끌리는지 모르겠다.
남들이 잘 쳐다 봐 주지 않는 녀석들의 모습을 자세하게 들여다 보고 싶은 호기심이랄까.
갯괴불주머니는 내륙에서 만나기 어렵고 해안에서도 흔하지는 않기 때문이기도 하겠다.
이 녀석은 지난 해 울릉도에서 처음 만나서 신나라 하면 자료를 만들었었는데 동해안에서 두번 째로 만났으니 반가울 수 밖에다. ㅎ
염주괴불주머니와 열매의 모습이 비슷하여 간혹 혼동하기도 하지만
염주괴불주머니는 종자의 배열이 1 줄이라 열매 꼬투리가 잘록잘록 비교적 규칙적인 모양을 하고 있다.
이에 반하여 갯괴불주머니는 종자의 배열이 2 줄로 되어 있어서 허리띠처럼 넓은 너비가 있으며 꼬투리 모양도 울퉁불퉁 불규칙하다.
울퉁불퉁 제멋대로 생긴 모습이 참 못났다.
마침 열매가 터져서 종자가 떨어지기 시작하는 녀석이 있었다.
꼬투리 안에 두 줄로 자리잡은 종자의 모습이 보인다.
