꽃색이 옅은 노란색이란 점에만 꽂혀서 괴불주머니가 아닐까 싶어서
혼자서 신이 나서 이리 저리 담았던 녀석이다.
꽃의 위아래 순판 모양만 봐도 산괴불주머니란 걸 생각하지 못하고 꽃색에만 현혹되었던 내가 어이가 없었는데
5월 경남의 사찰 부근에서 괴불주머니를 만나고서야 괴불주머니에 대한 갈망을 해소할 수가 있었다.
보통의 산괴불주머니보다 색이 아주 옅은 연노랑색 꽃을 피운 산괴불주머니가 깔려 있었다.
꽃의 위 아래 순판이 넓고 편평하다. 괴불주머니의 순판은 말려 있다.
이 녀석 암술주두가 일자형이다.
산괴불주머니의 암술 주두가 일자형이고 괴불주머니 주두는 U자형이니
이 녀석은 당연히 산괴불주머니가 맞다.
주두 양쪽에 난 유두상 돌기수가 괴불주머니(C.wilfordii)는 3개씩, 산괴불주머니(C.speciosa)는 4개씩, 염주(갯)괴불주머니(C.heterocarpa)는 2개씩

산괴불주머니의 순판은 굽지 않고 편평하게 펴져 있는데
괴불주머니, 염주괴불주머니, 갯괴불주머니의 화관 순판은 끝부분에 흰색을 띄고 말려 있는 점이 비슷하다.
화색은 괴불주머니가 다른 녀석들에 비하여 연하다.

이 산에서 본 녀석도 꽃색이 아주 연한 노란색이어서 혹시나 괴불주머니가 아닐까 했던 것인데
화판 모양이 산괴불주머니와 같은 모습으로 다만 색이 옅은 산괴불주머니였던 것이다
