말발도리(수국과 말발도리속) Deutzia parviflora Bunge

학교 재량휴업이라 가까운 청량산에 들렀다.

지금이 가장 꽃 보기 어려운 시기이지만 물참대와 말발도리 정도는 볼 수 있지 않을까 해서다.

 

헌디 애석하게도 말발도리는 꽃이 다 사그러져서 벌써 열매만 맺혀 있고 불참대는 꽃봉오리가 아직 팥알만 하다.

그래도 그늘 구석에 두어 송이 피고 있는 말발도리는 붙잡고 애면글면 자료를 담았다.

 

말발도리는 물참대와 피는 시기가 거의 연결이 되어서 두 녀석을 구분하기 어려워하지만 몇 가지 특징만 익히면 쉽게 구분이 가능하다.

물참대의 잎에는 털이 거의 없고 수술대가 끝이 가늘게 빠지고 꽃 안쪽이 연한 노란색이고

말발도리는 잎 앞뒤에 성모가 많아서 바삭거리는 느낌이 있고, 수술대가 각이 진 사각형에 꽃 안쪽이 진노랑색이다.

 

 

 

 

꽃 안쪽 화탁이 진노랑색을 띠고 수술대가 마디 어깨가 있는 사람 형상을 하고 있다.

물참대의 수술대는 긴 삼각형으로 점점 뾰족한 모양이다.

 

 

 

 

 

잎의 앞면과 뒷면에 잔털이 많아서 만지면 바삭바삭 거리는 느낌이 있다

 

 

  

 

여러 개의 촛대 장식을 하고 있는 열매이다.

 

 

수피는 밝은 회색이고 오래된 가지의 수피는 불규칙하게 벗겨진다
