꼬리말발도리(수국과 말발도리속) Deutzia paniculata Nakai

휘유~! 내 무거운 걸음으로 3시간을 오르니 힘들긴 하다.

그래도 처음 만나는 꼬리말발도리와 국화방망이가 무거운 발걸음 하결 가볍게 해 준다.

 

꼬리조팝이나 나도국수나무 처럼 화서가 가지 끝에 꼬리 모양의 원추화서이다.  

개화한지 좀 된 듯하였지만 아직 봉오리도 있고 전체적으로 싱싱하다.

 제주도 자료도 아직 정리를 덜하였는데 처음 대면하였다고 식기 전에 등록해 둔다.

 

 

 암술이 3갈래로 갈라졌고 수술대가 물참대처럼 점점 가늘어지는 형태이다.

꽃은 햇가지 끝에 4-5월에 원추화서로 달리고(말발도리나무, 물참대는 산방화서임) 흰색이며 화서에는 털이 없다.

꽃받침은 종형으로서 성모가 있으며 얕게 갈라지고, 둔두이고 꽃받침열편은 삼각형으로서 길이 0.8mm정도이다.

 

꽃잎은 섭합상으로 배열되며 타원형으로서 길이 4-5mm이고 수술은 화피와 더불어 각 5개이며 털과 톱니가 없고

화반(花盤)에 성모가 있으며 암술대는 3개로서 털이 없다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

잎은 대생하며 타원형, 난상 타원형 또는 도란상 타원형이고 점첨두이며 끝이 꼬리처럼 약간 길어지며 원저 또는 넓은 예저이고 길이 7-10cm로서 잔톱니가 있으며, 표면은 녹색이고 3-4갈래의 성모가 있으며, 뒷면은 연한 녹색으로서 털이 없다.
