물참대(수국과 말발도리속) 열매와 동아 Deutzia glabrata Kom.

봄이 어디 쯤 서성거리고 있을까 하여 산 골짝을 헤메었더니

아직 십리 밖 먼 곳에서 아장거리고 있다고 기별이 온다.

 

하얀 레이스 목도리로 노란 구슬을 싸 안던 너도바람이 아직 낙엽 아래서 단잠을 자고 있고.

하릴 없는 고사리만 길손의 허기진 꽃배를 위로해 준다.

 

부스럼처럼 살갗을 벗기는 물참대 잎눈에 간절한 눈길 보내었다.

 

 

화반(花盤)에 털이 없고 암술대는 3개(간혹 2개)이다. 꽃받침에 성모가 있다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

어린 가지는 붉은 빛이 돌며 늙은 가지의 수피는 회색 또는 흑회색으로 불규칙하게 벗겨진다.
