감태나무(녹나무과생강나무속) Lindera glauca (Siebold & Zucc.) Blume

작년에 이 산을 내려오다가 딱 한 그루 보았었는데 온 산이 감태나무로 덮여 있었던 것을 몰랐다.

파란 열매에 주근깨처럼 하얀 점들이 가득하고 밋밋한 잎 가장자리가 특징이다.

이 녀석은 불그스름한 단풍이 든 잎이 봄까지 떨어지지 않고 그대로 말라 붙어 있다. 

 

열매는 까맣게 익는다.

지난 해 시내 건너 편 산에도 한 그루가 보이길래

이 녀석 꽃을 보자고 올 봄에 몇 번을 찾아 다녔는데도 당최 어디 있었는지 찾지를 못하였다.

 

 

장과는 둥글고 지름 8mm정도이고, 9월에 흑색으로 익는다. 소과경은 길이 12mm정도이다.

 

 

꽃은 이가화로서 4월에 잎이 필 때 엽액에 나오는 산형화서에 달리며 황색이다.

화피는 6개로 갈라지며 9개의 수술은 바깥 줄에 6개, 안쪽 줄에 3개있고 안쪽것은 선체(腺體)가 2개씩 있다.

화경은 길이5㎜정도로서 털이 있다

 

 

잎은 호생하며 두껍고 길이 5-14㎝, 넓이 1.5-2.5㎝로서 타원형 예두이며 예저 또는 원저로서

표면은 털이 없고 윤채가 있으며 뒷면은 회록색이고 처음에는 털이 있으나 점차 없어진다

 

 

검게 익은 열매와 단풍이 든 모습이다.

새순은 주홍색이며 단풍은 주홍색 또는 황색이고 겨울에도 마른잎이 떨어지지 않는다. 난대림지역에서는 겨울에도 엽병의 기부가 살아있다.

 

 

 수피는 회백색으로 평활하며 소지는 회백색이고 가지에 털이 없다.
