양까막까치밥나무(까치밥나무과 까치밥나무속) Ribes nigrum L.

채집한 표본을 택배로 부치고 카메라를 들고 다가가니

까치밥나무속 잎을 가진 관목이 까맣게 열매를 달고 있다.

검색을 하니 블랙커런트란 답이 나온다.

 

유럽 북부와 아시아 북부에서 자생하며 아메리카 지역에서는 상업용으로 재배한다. 

중형 관목으로 약 1.5m 정도까지 성장한단다.

블랙커런트는 즙이 많고 풍부한 향을 가지고 있어 주스나 잼, 소스 등으로 이용한다고 한다.

블랙커런트는 비타민 C 함량이 높은 것으로 유명하다. 특히 생과일이 많은 양의 비타민 C를 가지고 있으며 칼슘과 인, 철 등의 영양소도 풍부하다. 또한, 다른 베리류처럼 블랙커런트도 항산화 물질인 폴리페놀과 안토시아닌 등을 포함한다. 항산화 물질은 몸 안에서 활성산소를 제거하여 심장혈관계, 항암작용, 면역체계 등에 도움이 되는 물질이다. 블랙커런트 씨로 만든 오일은 비타민 E와 불포화 지방산 등을 함유하고 있다.
