개앵도나무(범의귀과 까치밥나무속) 열매

ㅎ...올해는 이 녀석 붉은 열매를 제대로 담는다. 

화서가 위로 서는 명자순이나 꼬리까치밥나무와 달리 까치밥나무의 화서는 아래로 늘어진다.

같은 속 다른 녀석들은 암수딴그루인 단성화인데 비하여 까치밥나무의 꽃은 양성화이다.

 

헌데 까치밥나무와 털의 정도가 차이가 있는 개앵도나무란 녀석이 있다.

개앵도나무는 화서에 털이 적고 잎 뒷면에도 맥 위에만 털이 있는 점이 까치밥나무와 다르다

까치밥나무 : 화서에 털이 밀생하고, 잎 표면에 잔털이 산생하며 뒷면에 융모가 있다.동아는 난형이며 털이 있다. 소지에 짧은 털과 지점이 있다.  개앵도나무 : 화서는 까치밥나무에 비해 털이 적고, 표면은 녹색이고 뒷면 맥위에만 털이 있다.     가지는 털이 없으며 굵고 동아(冬牙)는 난형이고 털이 없다.

 

뭐 굳이 구분하지 않고 그냥 까치밥나무라 해도 문제가 되지는 않겠지만 그래도 개앵도나무란 녀석이 있으니 뭐이가 다른지는 살펴야 했다

이태 동안 이 곳에서 담은 이 녀석의 화서를 보면 털이 거의 없고 잎 뒷면에도 털이 거의 보이지 않아서 개앵도나무란 결론을 내렸었다.

그 누무 털을 살피느라 눈이 빠질 뻔 했는데....해서 내 자료는 이 녀석을 개앵도나무로 정리하였다.
