어라? 이거 뭐지?
앞 서 가던 꽃동무가 가던 길 되돌리면서 하는 소리에 총총 달려가니
옴마야~!! 까치밥나무다.
아니다. 개앵도나무일 수도 있는데 화축과 잎 뒷면의 털을 확인해야 한다.
개앵도나무든 까치밥나무든 접근이 쉬운 곳에 이렇게 풍성하게 꽃을 피우고 있는 녀석을 발견하였으니
가을에 빨간 열매 담기도 딱이다.
아무튼 평소 다니지 않던 곳을 뒤져 보면 뜻밖의 선물이 기다리는 경우가 있어서 이렇게 즐겁다.
| 까치밥나무 : 화서에 털이 밀생하고, 잎 표면에 잔털이 산생하며 뒷면에 융모가 있다.동아는 난형이며 털이 있다. 소지에 짧은 털과 지점이 있다. 개앵도나무 : 화서는 까치밥나무에 비해 털이 적고, 표면은 녹색이고 뒷면 맥위에만 털이 있다. 가지는 털이 없으며 굵고 동아(冬牙)는 난형이고 털이 없다. |
꽃은 양성화로 가운데 암술이 깊게 갈라져 있고 화축과 화경에 밀모가 덮여 있다.
그러면 이 녀석은 화서의 털에서는 까치밥나무가 맞다
잎 뒷면에 털이 적은 개앵도나무에 비하여 까치밥나무는 뒷면에 밀모가 있다
이 녀석의 잎 뒷면을 보니 고운 털이 밀생하고 있다.
