은분취(국화과 취나물속) Saussurea gracilis Maxim.

일주일전 흘림골 아래쪽에서는 아직 봉오리 상태였는데

더 높은 이 곳에서는 벌써 개화 중이었다.

 

줄기는 흰 털로 덮여 있으나 곧 없어진다.

뿌리잎은 녹색이며 표면에는 털이 거의 없거나 짧고 뻣뻣한 단모가 산생하고 뒷면에는 백색의 면모가 밀생 또는 산생한다.

근생엽은 로제트상으로 달리고, 개화 시 까지 남아 있다. 

가야산에 자생하는 가야산은분취가 있는데 은분취 이명으로 처리가 되었다.

꽃은  자주색으로 피며 두상화가 산방상으로 달리고 꽃차례에 백색 털이 있다.

총포편 가장자리에 거미줄 같은 흰색 털이 덮여 있고 자줏빛이 돈다.
