남해취(국화과 취나물속)=>남해분취로 논문 발표됨(2022)

한국식물분류학회 51회 전국학술대회에 남해취가 포스터 발표되었다.

초록의 내용이다.

국화과 신종 : 남해취 (가칭) 선은미P1, 김혜원1, 정재민2, 임형탁3* 1국립수목원 산림생물조사과, 2국립수목원 산림보존과, 3전남대학교 생물학과 국화과(Asteraceae)의 취나물속(Saussurea)에 속하는 한반도 신종인 남해취(Saussurea sp.)를 발견하여 보고한다. 본 종은 경상남도 남해와 경상북도 문경시 일대에서 발견되었다. 남해취는 은분취(S. gracilis)나 분취(S. seoulensis)와 같이 엽신의 형태가 삼각상이며, 총포 열편이 반곡하지 않고, 백색의 거미줄 털이 많아 근연분류군으로 생각된다. 그러나 잎의 열편이 불규칙하게 중열 또는 심열하는 특징으로 쉽게 구분된다. 또한 은분취의 잎은 두꺼우며, 이면은 백색의 털로 밀생하는 반면, 남해취는 은분취에 비하여 얇고, 잎 이면이 회청색을 띤다. 분취는 총포의 열편이 5-6개이나 남해취는 6-11개로 차이가 있다. 국명은 처음 채집된 지역의 이름을 따라 남해취로 가칭하였으며, 기재와 검색표 및 도판을 제시하였다.

 

2012년 경남의 섬에서 이상하여 갸웃거렸던 녀석과 바로 같은 녀석이었다.

도로 절개지 사면에서 볕을 잘 받아서 꽃도 피우던 녀석이

잎에 깊게 갈라지는 형태가 나타나서 유심히 봐두었더랬는데.........

 

오늘 확인 차 그 곳을 다시 가 보니  나무들이 자라면서 그늘이 깊어지자

대부분 뿌리잎만 보이고 두어 개체가 꽃대를 올리고 있었다.

위의 포스터 초록의 내용 중

< 잎의 열편이 불규칙하게 중열 또는 심열하는 특징으로 쉽게 구분된다. 엽신의 형태가 삼각상이고,

 은분취에 비하여 얇고 잎 이면이 회청색을 띤다>는 내용과 일치하는 잎의 모습이다.

 

 

오늘 확인한 산 정상부에 개화한 개체들은 털이 거의 사라진 회청색을 띠고 있었다.

8년 전 7월에 보았던 잎 이면에는 거미줄 같은 털이 제법 많아서 백색에 가깝다.

 

그 때도 이 녀석 총포 포편 수가 많아서 갸웃거렸더랬는데

<총포 열편이 반곡하지 않고, 백색의 거미줄 털이 많으며,

분취는 총포의 열편이 5-6개이나 남해취는 6-11개로 차이가 있다>는 내용과 일치하는 것 같다.
