흰인가목(장미과 장미속) Rosa koreana Kom.

인가목에 비하여 잎도 꽃도 무척 작은 녀석으로 흰꽃이 피며 강원도와 경기도 산지에 자생하는 귀한 종이다.

 

해발고도 1,000m 이상의 고산에서 드물게 자라는 낙엽성 떨기나무다. 줄기는 가지가 많이 갈라지며 높이 1m가량이다.

작은 가지에 붉은 가시 모양의 털이 밀생한다. 잎은 작은잎 7~15개로 이루어진 깃꼴겹잎으로 어긋난다.

작은잎은 타원형 또는 도란상 타원형이며 가장자리에 예리한 톱니가 있다. 잎자루에는 샘털이 있다.

 

인가목에 비해 꽃자루와 잎자루에 샘털이 있고 잎 가장자리에 샘털이 있으며 열매가 타원형이다.
