찔레꽃 붉게~ 피~~는~♪ 남쪽 나라 내 고~향 ♬~!
오래 전 불려지던 가요에 붉은 찔레꽃이 나온다.
이 노래의 붉은찔레꽃은 작사가가 붉은찔레꽃의 실체를 알고 쓴 것이라기 보다
고향 언덕의 하얀 찔레꽃을 떠올리면서 상상 속의 그리움의 표현이 아니었을까?
강원도 산골 작은 마을에 커다란 분홍색 찔레꽃이 무리지어 피어 있는 모습이 장관이다.
이른 아침 마악 꽃잎을 펼치는 중이라서 접혀 있던 주름을 아직 완전하게 펴지도 못하고 있다.
이 곳 농원 주인이 자생의 분홍 찔레를 발견하여 몇 년동안 삽목으로 길러서 찔레 울타리를 만들었다.
분홍의 찔레꽃 울타리는 은은한 향기와 더불어 장미와 견줄 수 없는고향을 느끼게 하는 소박한 아름다움을 전해 준다.
