현삼(현삼과)

현삼속 중에서 약초로 재배하는 종으로 꽃이 연두색이고 줄기 끝에 다닥다닥 수상화서를 만들고 있다.

헌데 몇 군데 현삼이라고 올려 놓은 것을 보면 토현삼에다가 현삼이란 이름을 달아서 올려 두었다.

 

오늘 현삼을 보고싶다는 꽃동무의 요청에 이곳에 들렀더랬는데

헐~~! 전에 보이 던 장소에 가니 없다! 여러해살이풀이라 분명 있어야 하는데......

혹시나 하여 건물 앞쪽 약초포에 달려 갔더니 휘유~! 두 포기가 꽃과 열매를 이삭화서로 달고 있다.

 

꽃은 8~9월에 피고 황록색이며 취산화서는 짧은 화경과 더불어 길이 1-2cm로서 선모가 많고

화서는 줄기 끝에서 모여 전체가 수상 원추화서로 되며 포가 작다.

 

 

 

화관은 길이 6-7mm로서 통부가 단지 모양이며 끝이 순형이고 하순이 밑으로 젖혀지고 4개의 수술 중 2개가 길다

 

 

 

 

 

꽃받침은 5개로 갈라지고 열편은 난형 또는 난원형으로 서로 포개어지며 가장자리가 물결성이다.

잎은 대생하며 긴 난형이고 예두이며 절저 또는 예저이고 길이 5-10cm, 나비 2.5-5cm로서

가장자리에 뾰족한 톱니가 있으며 엽병은 날개가 약간 있거나 없다.

 

 

 

높이 80-150cm이며 사각형이고 가지는 곧게 자라며 털이 없다.
