집 담벼락에 담쟁이덩굴이 초록의 커튼을 만들어 주고 있다. 어디서 묻어왔는지도 모른다.
언제 부터인가 담쟁이덩굴이 자라기에 모른 척하고 두었더니 제법 어우러 지고 있다.
엄니가 풀을 뽑는다고 화단의 풀꽃들을 뽑을 때 이 녀석 줄기도 하나 잘라 놓으셨다.
그 바람에 담벼락의 담쟁이덩굴 1/3이 말라 버렸다.
꽃이 언제 피는지 담으려고 기다리고 있었는데 얼마 전에 보니 동글동글 열매가 달려 있었다.
밖으로만 돌아다니다 보니 그 사이에 꽃이 피고 열매가 달린 줄만 알았다.
헌데 오늘 앞 산에 올랐다가 담쟁이덩굴이 꽃을 피우고 있는 걸 발견하였다.
집 담벼락을 확인하니 이제사 마구마구 꽃이 피고 있었다. ㅎㅎㅎ
올 가을에는 빨갛게 물든 담쟁이잎과 까만 열매가 삭막한 시멘트 담장을 멋지게 인테리어 해 줄 끼다.
