왕머루(포도과 포도속) Vitis amurensis Rupr.

잎은 호생하며 넓은 난형이고 예두 심장저이며 끝이 3-5개로 얕게 갈라지고 길이 12~25cm로서

표면에 털이 없으며 뒷면은 털이 없거나 맥 위에 털이 있고 열편 가장자리에 작은 치아상의 톱니가 있다. 잎은 붉게 단풍이 든다.

원추화서는

잎과 마주 달리며 화경 밑부분에서 흔히 덩굴손이 발달하고 꽃은 6월에 황록색의 꽃이 핀다.
