거지덩굴(포도과 거지덩굴속) Causonia japonica (Thunb.) Raf.

잎새가 이렇게 이쁜 녀석을 왜 거지덩굴이라고 하였을까?

이 녀석도 잎겨드랑이에서 나온 화서에서 꽃이 피는데 아직은 덩굴만 올리고 있다.

  

 

 

5장의 잎을 가진 덩굴식물로 미국담쟁이덩굴이 있는데

거지덩굴은 잎자루가 3갈래 진 후 아랫쪽 잎자루가 2개가 다시 2갈래 져서 5장의 소엽을 이루는데,

처음부터 5갈래 진 미국담쟁이덩굴과 차이점이다.

 

 

 

털이 거의 없으며 원줄기는 녹자색으로서 능선이 있고 마디가 긴 털이 있으며 다른 식물체로 뻗어가서 왕성하게 퍼진다.
