왕백량금으로 불러줘야 하나?

(왕)백량금(자금우과 자금우속) 열매 Ardisia crenata Sims
국가표준식물목록에는 우리가 백량금으로 부르는 녀석의 이미지는
왕백량금의 학명 Ardisia crenata Sims 이다.

우리나라에는 없는
Ardisia crispa 을 중국에서 이미 百两金(백량금)으로 부르고 있어서
국표준식물목록에는 중국명과 상충되지 않게 하기 위해서 Ardisia crenata의 국명을 왕백량금으로 정리한 것 같다.

생물자원관의 한반도생물다양성 포털에는 학명만 바꾸고 국명은 백량금Ardisia crenata Sims으로 정리가 되어 있다.
두 기관의 국명이 달라서 헷갈리게 하고 있다.

우리가 헷갈리지 않게 하려면 백량금의 학명만 바꾸면 될텐데.....
어쨋든 국가표준목록에 따라 이 녀석의 국명을 왕백량금으로 불러주어야 하는 게 논리상은 맞긴한데......

중국에서 백량금으로 부르고 있는 아래 녀석은 우리나라에는 자생하지 않는다.

 

 

우리 나라에 자생하고 있는 현재 다들 백량금으로 부르고 있는 녀석이다

제주의 숲에서는 흔하게 만날 수 있다. 

국가표준목록의 학명에 따른 국명이라면 왕백량금 Ardisia crenata 이다.
