산호수(자금우과 자금우속)

 2015. 5. 17. 제주.

 

그늘진 음습한 바닥을 뒤지면 털부숭이 녀석인 산호수를 만날 수가 있다.

자금우속 삼총사 모두 붉은 열매를 다는 모습은 비슷한데 잎이 가장 넓고 줄기 전체에 붉은 털이 있고

땅속 줄기 끝이 위로 자라  개체를 만들고 꽃을 피운다.

웃기는 건  자금우속 녀석들 모두 화분 장식용으로 많이 심겨져 팔리기에 예전에는 원예종이 줄로 알았다는.
