백량금(자금우과 자금우속) 꽃 Ardisia crenata Sims,

남부 지역의 숲 속 그늘에서 자라는 상록성 작은떨기나무이다.

줄기는 높이 1m 정도로 자라며 윗부분에서 가지가 갈라지기도 한다.

잎은 어긋나고 긴 타원형이며 두껍고 길이 7~12cm, 폭 2~4cm, 짙은 초록빛으로서 윤이 난다.
