(왕)백량금/ 자금우/ 산호수 비교

왕백량금, 자금우, 산호수는 같은 자금우과로 우리 나라에는 제주도 산록에 서식하고 있다.

분재용으로 많이 판매되는데 열매가 비슷하여 특징을 살펴 두지 않으면 이름을 헷갈려들 하는 녀석들이다.

 

(왕)백량금	자금우	산호수
잎은 어긋나고 긴 타원형이며 내곡형 얕은 거치가 있고 두꺼우며 짙은 초록빛으로서 윤이 난다.  길이 7~12cm, 폭 2~4cm,	마주나거나 어긋나기,잎 가장자기에 자잘한  거치, 잎몸은 타원형 또는 난형 길이 6~13cm, 폭 2~5cm	거의 돌려나는 잎, 양면에 누른 갈색털 많음, 큰 톱니가 드문드문, 잎자루에 황갈색 털, 잎길이 3~~4cm, 너비 1.5~3.0cm

 

<(왕)백량금>  Ardisia crenata Sims

높이 1m 정도로 가장 크게 자라고 위쪽에서 가지가 많이 갈라진다. 

 잎은 어긋나고 긴 타원형이며 두껍고 길이 7~12cm, 폭 2~4cm, 짙은 초록빛으로서 윤이 난다. 잎 가장자리의 둔한 톱니 사이에는 샘털이 있다.

 

 잎이 두꺼운 혁질로 내곡형 부드러운 거치가 있다

 

  

<자금우> Ardisia japonica (Thunb.) Blume

땅속줄기는 옆으로 뻗는다. 줄기는 밑부분이 비스듬하게 서며, 높이 15~30cm다. 잎은 어긋나지만 윗부분에서는 돌려난 것 같으며 가죽질이고 윤이 난다. 잎몸은 타원형 또는 난형으로 길이 6~13cm, 폭 2~5cm이며 가장자리에 잔 톱니가 있다. 

 

꽃은 5~6월에 잎겨드랑이에서 우산살 모양으로 달려 밑으로 처지며, 흰색이다. 

 

열매는 둥근 핵과이며 지름 5~6mm, 

 

  

<산호수>  Ardisia pusilla A.DC.

숲속 낮은 지대의 음지에 높이 15~20cm 정도로 자라는 상록성 활엽 작은떨기나무이다. 뿌리줄기가 옆으로 길게 뻗으며 그 끝이 지상으로 올라와 땅 위 줄기가 된다.  줄기와 잎, 꽃차례 등 나무 전체에 갈색 털이 있다. 잎은 돌려나 층을 이루며 양면에 붉은 갈색 털이 밀생한다
