2024. 7. 5. 북해도 소운쿄 온천지구 숙소 주변
꽃동무2명과 함께 여명이 시작되는시각 4시 부터 숙소 주변 도로를 따라 걸으면서 숲을 뒤졌다.
왕꽃마리는 대부분 봉오리상태로 개화한 왕꽃마리는 몇 개체 보이지 않았다. 작년보다 5일 더 빠르게 진행된 일정으로 식물들의 개화가 다소 이른 듯하다.
작년에 이 녀석 정체를 밝히느라고 뚝지치속을 뒤지다가 결국 꽃동무의 조언으로 섬꽃마리속에서 녀석의 정체를 확인했더랬다.
숲속 습지에서 자라는 두해살이풀이다. 줄기는 비스듬히 위로 자라며, 높이 40~80cm, 허리 높이~가슴 높이 정도로 키가 크다. 위쪽에서 가지를 치고, 전체에 길이 2mm 정도의 털이 있다.
이 종은 섬꽃마리에 비해 줄기의 털은 길이 1~2mm로 길며, 잎 표면에 난 털과 더불어 듬성하게 달리고 열매 겉의 털은 3.0~3.5mm로 길다.
꽃마리 이름답게 화서가 말려서 나온다,
