습한 숲 바닥에 도랑가에 서식하는 덩굴성 치과 식물로 참꽃마리와 덩굴꽃마리가 있다.
여기에 더하여 거센털꽃마리라는 녀석이 있는데 이 녀석에 대하여는 별로 신경을 쓰지 않아서
초여름 숲속의 하얀 별꽃같은 꽃을 보고는 덩굴꽃마리나 참꽃마리로 불러 주었었다.
오늘 꽃친구가 거센털꽃마리 신초를 보여 준다고 길도 없는 숲자락 도랑을 데리고 다녔다.
에구 에구~! 엉긴 잡목을 헤치고 따라 다닐려니 힘 들다. 운동을 하지 않아서 이젠 다리에 힘이 없다.
신초 잎과 잎자루에는 하얀 털이 대단하다. 꽃잎 필 때에도 꽃을 제외하고 모두 하얀 털로 덮여 있는 털보다.
끝이 둥글거나 뾰족하고 밑부분이 둥글거나 얕은 심장저이며 밑부분의 것은 엽병이 길고 윗부분의 것은 짧다.
잎맥이 주맥 1개만 뚜렷하게 보이고 측맥은 눈으로 확인이 잘 안 될 정도인데 뒤쪽을 보니 측맥이 있긴 있다.
이 녀석의 화서는 참꽃마리처럼 잎과 잎 사이에 한 송이씩 핀다.
4-5월에 개화하고 하늘색으로서 윗부분의 엽액에 달리며 소화경은 길이 1-2cm이다.
꽃받침은 5개로 깊게 갈라지며 열편은 긴 타원형이고 길이 2-5mm이며 화관은 지름 5~8mm로서 5개로 갈라지고
수술은 5개로서 통부에 붙어 있으며 밖으로 나오지 않는다.
이 녀석은 털이 거의 안 보인다. 참꽃마리나 덩굴꽃마리일 가능성이 있다.
