지치(지치과)

작은 도랑 초입에서 좌우 숲을 살피며 한 발짝 한 발짝 풀을 헤치는데

아고야! 하얗게 꽃이 핀 지치 한 포기.

 

지치 뿌리는 약재로 인기가 있어서 약초꾼들한테 걸리면 이미 없는 거나 마찬가지다.  

하도 채취를 해서 점차 사라지고 있는 종 중의 하나로 가까운 시일안에 멸종위기에 처할 위협을 받고 있단다. 

 

녀석의 초세로 봐서 꽤나 나이를 먹은 것 같은데.....아그야~! 꼭꼭 잘 숨어 있그라잉.

 

 

 

 

 

정생하는 총상화서에 달리며 잎 모양의 포가 있고

꽃받침잎은 5개로 깊게 갈라지며 열편은 녹색이고 선형이며 둔두이고 화관통부보다 길다.

화관은 길이 6-7mm 지름 4mm로서 후부에 5개의 인편이 있고 복상(輻狀)으로 5열한다.

 

 

 

  

잎은 호생하며 엽병이 없고 피침형으로 양끝이 뾰족하고 밑부분이 좁아져서 엽병처럼 되며 톱니가 없고 지맥(枝脈)은 비스듬히 뻗는다. 

 

 

  

뿌리는 자색으로 붉다. 紫草(자초)라 하며 약용한다.
