흰색 애기동백과 붉은색 애기동백이 한창 개화 중이다

 

일본 원산이며 관상용으로 정원, 화단에 식재하는 상록 활엽 작은떨기나무이다. 

동백보다 더 이른 시기에 꽃을 피운다.
