드뎌 몇 년을 끌던 논문이 한국식물분류학회지에 발표가 되었다.
이 녀석을 처음 발견한 때가 2018년이니 5년만에 이름을 얻게 된 것이다.

| 적 요: 침입외래식물인 Brassica tournefortii Gouan이 전북 군산시, 고창군, 제주도 제주시에서 발견되었다. 본 종 은 식물체 기부에 강모가 밀생하고, 줄기가 기부와 말단에서 분지하며, 열매는 성숙시 일부분만 열개되고, 종자는 수분이 있을 때 점성이 띠는 특징으로 배추속의 갓, 유채와 쉽게 구분된다. 일부 학자들은 B. tournefortii의 열매와 종자의 특징으로 Coincya Rouy 속에 속하는 분류군으로 취급하기도 하나, 열매의 과피 편 표면에 한개의 맥이 있는 특징과, ITS 구간 염기서열의 maximum-likelihood 분석 결과에 따라 배추속 식물로 분류하였다. 본 연구에서 B. tournefortii의 분포지, 화상자료 및 기재문을 제시하였으며, 또한 본 종의 잠재분포변 화가 기후 시나리오에 의해 예측되었다. 예측 결과, B. tournefortii의 국내 확산 가능성은 낮은 것으로 나타났지만, 정확한 판단을 하기 위해서는 지속적인 모니터링이 필요할 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구의 결과들은 B. tournefortii의 위험성 평가 및 효과적인 관리방안을 제시하기 위한 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다 |
2021년 포스터 발표 때 Coincya tournefortii 였던 학명이 정식출판 때 Brassicaceae Burnett로 속명이 바뀌었다.
"학자에 따라 B. tournefortii 또는 Coincya tournefortii (Gouan) Alcaraz, T.E.Díaz, Rivas Mart. & Sánchez-Gómez로 취급하고 있는 본 분류군" 이란 내용이 논문에 기재되어 있다

| 국내 미기록 외래식물인 Coincya tournefortii가 2018년 군산에서 처음 발견되었다. 본 종은 기부엽이 뚜렷한 로제트형을 이루고 열편은 깊게 갈라져 있어 유럽장대(Sisymbrium officinale (L.) Scop.) 또는 갯무(Raphanus sativus var. hortensis f. raphanistroides Makino)와 유사하게 보이며, 엽연과 엽병에 강모가 뚜렷하게 발달해 있어 엉겅퀴의 근생엽을 연상시킨다. 그러나 본종은 줄기의 기부에 강모가 밀생하고, 노란색의 꽃이 성기게 달리며, 결실기에도 남아있는 근생엽과 수분이 공급되면 점성을 띄는 종자를 갖는 특징으로 구분된다. 한편 본 종은 지중해 주변 국가, 중앙아시아, 인도 서부가 원산으로 건조 및 반건조한 지역에서도 잘 자라는 식물로 알려져 유럽과 미국, 오스트레일리아에 도입되어 널리 분포하고 있으며, 중국과 일본에도 분포한다. 일부 국가에서는 사막생태계 교란을 야기시키는 침입외래식물로 지정하여 환경 및 경제적 피해를 막기 위한 대책들이 강구되고 있다. 최초 발견된 군산 지역에서 3년 동안 관찰한 결과, 개체가 도태되지 않고 지속적으로 유지되고 있다. |
2018년 내가 처음 발견한 이후 2020년 고창과 제주에서도 발견이 되었다고 한다
